I know the W850i can be unlocked. I even have the unlocking code from Vodafone AU because they offer a free service to their customers. But for the life of me, they don't have the unlocking instructions for the W850! ...

Just to say i unlocked a w880i (locked to t-mobile) today and with an orange sim card in it, it displays 'inactive sim' but with a vodafone or o2 it works. There must be something the patch generator is overlooking. Maybe a few more values need to be changed? Correct me if i sound stupid. Please. ... If it comes to it you can always ask 3 for an unlock code ...
